ANNOUNCEMENT（通知）

To whom it may concern,

We are writing to inform you of the official dissolution of the Japan-North American Commission on Cooperative Mission.

JNAC has served both the Japanese and North American churches well for 33 years. However, with the recent decrease in the number of missionaries serving in Japan, the rising cost of maintaining staff, the limited funds available and the desire to do cooperative mission in a new, more flexible way, the member organizations came to the difficult decision to dissolve JNAC. The final decision was made at a special general meeting of all JNAC members, held at the PCUSA Center in Louisville, Kentucky on January 24 and 25, 2005. The decision was unanimous.

We request that you inform all persons in your financial, legal or other departments, to whom this news is relevant.

Although JNAC is dissolved, we trust that your church/organization will remain committed to working together with the other former members of JNAC for the good of mission in Japan, North America and throughout Asia.

日・北米宣教協力会（JNAC）が正式に解散したことをお知らせいたします。

JNACは、33年間、日本と北米の両教会のためにその役割を担ってまいりました。しかしながら、近年、日本への派遣宣教師の減少、それを支えるスタッフの経費の増加、必要資金の不足、そして新しい、より柔軟な宣教協力の道を求めようとの切望等により、JNAC加盟教会はこの組織を解散することをやむなく決断いたしました。最終決議は、2005年１月24日〜25日に、北米ケンタッキー州ルイヴィルのPCUSA（米国長老教会）センターで開催されました全JNAC加盟教会による特別総会でなされ、満場一致をもって可決いたしました。

このJNACの正式解散につきまして、貴団体内部の関係部署へもお知らせ下さいますよう、お願い申し上げます。
JNACが解散いたしましても、貴教会/貴団体が引き続き、これまでのJNAC加盟教会、そしてかつての加盟教会と共に、日本、北米そしてアジア地域における宣教のためによき協力がなされることを祈って止みません。
